Black Rock desert cab ~
Offered here is a striking cabochon cut from a Black Rock Desert agate nodule, from Nevada. Absolutely amazing stuff, these hard to come by thundereggs, and you never know what you'll find on the inside. This one's showing some nice yellowish plumes with fortification bandings in a base of smoky translucent agate, framed by brick colored rhyolite. The cab has a fun designer shape and a nicely rounded dome of 5+mm, highly polished both front and back.
