Offered here is a cabochon of banded flint, which hails from Poland. To call it banded is surely an understatement; this stuff is WOW! And this is actually one of the milder patterns, believe it or not. Some areas show a nice, unexpected translucence, in gentle earthy shades that'll go great in most any setting you can dream up. Try a cab, you'll like it! This one has a well rounded dome, a curvy designer shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
