Willow creek jasper cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of fancy Willow Creek jasper, from Idaho. This famous member of the porcelain jasper family has long been becoming increasingly hard to come by these days, particularly in the top quality everyone desires. This one has somewhat purplish overtones in unusual smoky grays with cream, artfully patterned within its crescent shape. This jasper is one of Rain's favorites so you may have noticed I don't offer too many Willow Creek cabs... -smile- but last year, I set a cab from this same rough with small amethyst accent stones that had customers fighting over it! Wine red garnets would compliment it well too, if you're so inclined, and it's sure to go nicely in either a gold or silver setting. The cab has a well rounded dome, and a perfect 'liquid' polish both front and back.
