Carnelain agate cab ~
Offered here is a fancy cabochon of banded carnelian agate, from Africa. This vibrant stone has oodles of bandings in juicy reddish-orange and yellowish-orange alternating with clear agate. Just gorgeous, and quite eye-catching, backlit or not! The stone has a low but well rounded dome of 5mm, a sweet designer 'flame' shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
