Brenda plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Brenda plume agate, from Arizona. Sometimes known as Red Top agate, no matter what you call it, this seldom seen old-time material is certainly gorgeous stuff! Reminds me a lot of Sonora plume agate; see the resemblance? This stone is a primo example, chock full of bushy red plumage, with purplish agate peeking through between. It has a very high rounded dome of 7mm, a fat designer 'almond' shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
