Here is an unusual cabochon of chalcopyrite with chysocolla-stained quartz. Found as a by-product of copper, silver, and other ore mining, this material is often quite visually interesting. There's a virtual party going on in this stone, dominated by the almost spiderwebbed patches of glittery metallics that are a brassy gold in color. Added to that is the striking contrast of patches of quartz stained turquoise blue by chrysocolla. Perfect for any unique jewelry creation! The stone has a low but well rounded dome, polished both front and back.
