Sunstone cab ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon of sunstone, from Oregon. This sparkling and gemmy member of the feldspar family features excellent saturated orange coloration, with an excellent rolling flash of shiller that moves from side to side like a catseye. Truly a remarkable stone, impossible to ignore; in fact, it's one of the nicest sunstone cabs I've ever seen, no kidding! And happily, there are no fractures, pits or other blemishes atall. The cab is small but mighty, with a very high rounded dome of 6+mm, polished to a slick glassy finish both front and back.
