Marra Mamba tigereye cab ~
Offered here is a darkly mysterious cabochon of Australia's rare Marra Mamba tigereye, the world's finest. This unusual example features flashy golds, oranges, and blues, with some thin ribbons of salmon red. Lots of gleaming metallics in this one, in an almost brecciated pattern, inlcuding some midnight blue jasper that's spangled with glinting speckles, though you catch only a bit of their gleam in these photos. The stone has a generously rounded dome of 7mm, and an excellent glassy polish both front and back. A steal at $3 per carat!
