Dryhead agate ~
Offered here is a very special cabochon of collectible Dryhead agate, from Montana. This boldly patterned beauty features intricate fortification banding in hues of reddish-orange, framing a sparkling crystalline core. I should mention that the small hole in the crytal 'heart' does penetrate through to the backside, but that adds rather than detracts from this unique gemstone. The cab has a nicely rounded dome, a gracefully fluid designer 'paisley' shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
