Chrysocolla malachite cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of spiderwebbed chrysocolla and malachite, from Peru. This amazing material is absolutely gorgeous, with bright cerulean and dark blue chrysocolla running through the deep green patches of malachite. The reddish webbing really sets it all off nicely. A close look reveals that some of areas of the malachite are chatoyant, like satin. Once you hold it in your hand, I think you'll have a tough time parting with this one... It's a keeper! The cab has a very high rounded dome, a designer 'paisley' shape, and a great glossy polish both front and back.
