Dryhead agate ~
Offered here is a unique cabochon of collectible Dryhead agate, from Montana. This well patterned beauty features some fantastic fortification banding in pastel hues of orange on coral pink, both of which frame sparkling crystalline cores. In case you can't discern it, I should mention that there is a tiny void in the larger crytal 'heart', going straight through, but it adds rather than detracts from the fascinating character of this gemstone. The cab has a nicely rounded dome and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
