Offered here we have a cab of Deschutes jasper, from Oregon. A long time favorite in the celebrated family of porcelain jaspers, this classic old material has become quite collectibly rare these days. This cabochon features a striking pattern in rich earthy tones in creamy tans and reddish browns, and more than a touch of blue gray. Oozing with character! It has a very high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a crisply bold designer shape that enhances the jasper's pattern very nicely, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
