Pauite agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Paiute agate, cut from new material fresh from the recent digs in Southern Oregon. Yup, they're started harvesting this fine agate again, hooray! This well marked example features a bunch of the classic black dendrites swirled into a background of burnt orange, including light agate with a very pale purplish tint. The stone has a high rounded dome, a sleek designer shape, and despite a couple micro pits, it took a super glassy polish both front and back.
