Marra mamba cab ~
Offered here is an intriguing cabochon of rare Marra Mamba tigereye, from Australia. This splendid material is delightfully colorful, with plenty of chatoyant flash even in these flat digital photos. Small but mighty, it's a genuine treasure, predominately blue with neat streaks of salmon red and yellow, seen only in the top quality Marra Mamba tigereye. At the small end are ribbons of dark silvery hematite alternating with bright orange and yellow jasper, with a translucent quartz band adding to its appeal. The stone has a high rounded dome of 6+mm, and an excellent glassy polish both front and back. It's a steal at just under $4 per carat!
