Marra mamba cab ~
Offered here is a gorgeous cabochon of Australia's rare Marra Mamba tigereye, the finest tigereye ever. This splendid example features blue and gold dominated coloration, with a patch of orange chatoyance at one side, blood red jasper at the other. The large end is dark silvery hematite, adding much character to the stone's artful composition. It has a well rounded dome of 6mm, and an excellent glassy polish both front and back. I do need to mention that the backside has a smallish pit near the edge, and the face has some all but unnoticeable feathers, but they don't detract from this stone atall. It's a steal at well under $3 per carat!
