Variscite cab ~
Offered here is a well matched pair of cabochons of top quality spiderwebbed variscite, from near Snowville, Utah. These are a lovely example of a fine material that's become fairly tough to come by these days. They feature delicate patterns of webbing in gemmy kelly green, with a surprising degree of translucence. I think the actual colors are something a computer monitor cannot do justice to, really, but the pics give you the idea; they're one nice pair! An excellent addition to any collection, or they might inspire you to create the perfect settings to turn them into wearable art. Each has a very high rounded dome of 6+mm, and despite some negligibly tiny pits and feathering, they are nicely polished both front and back.
