Dryhead agate ~
Offered here is a lovely cabochon of collectible Dryhead agate, from Montana. This subtle but well patterned beauty features some neat fortification banding in hues of orange on coral pink, both of which frame a sparkling crystalline core. I should mention that there are some tiny voids in the larger crytal 'heart', but that adds rather than detracts from this unique gemstone. The cab has a nicely rounded dome, a gracefully fluid designer 'paisley' shape, and a smooth glassy polish both front and back.
