Offered here is an elegant cabochon of Owyhee jasper, from Oregon. This famous member of the porcelain jasper family features an artfully composed pattern in earthy ochre, creamy yellow, with appealing streaks of deep red. One of my all time favorite jaspers, this classic treasure is very showy, a real keeper! The stone is nicely domed, with a slick glassy polish both front and back.
