Chrysocolla malachite cab ~
Offered here is a vivid cabochon of chrysocolla and malachite, from Nevada. This striking quartz-based material features threads of electric blue chrysocolla, with overtones of green malachite, some of which shows a bit of chatoyance. At one end is a patch of rusty reddish brown cuprite, spiderwebbed with blue-green veins. Simply yummy! The stone has a nicely rounded dome, and a brilliant glass-smooth finish both front and back.
