Turquoise ~
Offered here is a cabochon of turquoise, which hails from Colorado. This stone features very attractive coloration, with a delightful spiderwebbed pattern. No doubt the material has been stabilized by some hardening process, as is most modern turquoise, but I don't believe it has been subjected to artificial coloring of any kind. It cut like a dream, and will wear wonderfully, without turning green over the years. The cab has a very high rounded dome of 6mm, a crisp designer shape, and a great glossy polish both front and back.
