Polish flint ~
Offered here is a cabochon of banded flint, which hails from Poland. To call it banded is surely an understatement; this stuff is WOW! And this is actually one of the milder patterns, believe it or not. The darker bands show a nice, unexpected translucence. Try a cab, you'll like it. This one has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a crisply bold symmetrical shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
