Amethyst Sage Agate ~
Offered here is a cabochon of amethyst sage agate, from Nevada. This material is a real favorite around here, and when it's good, it's VERY good! This particular example features mighty fine coloration in deep lavender and burnt yellow, with some smallish dendrites. Very gemmy. It has a low but well rounded dome of just under 5mm, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
