Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of old stock pietersite, from Africa. This colorful stone is surpringly alive with silky blues, bright golds, and fiery crimsons, in an intriguing brecciated pattern that shifts and changes as the stone is turned; just as one area dims, another blazes up, though that quality is mighty tough to illustrate in one dimensional photos. This one's going to make a real show-stopping item of jewelry, no doubt! The cab has a low but nicely rounded dome of 4mm, a fun designer shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
