Here is a designer cabochon of top quality yellow opal, old OLD material from Napa, California. This material is called 'common' opal because it has no fire, but it is anything but common, in the other sense of the term. It features bright, translucent lemon yellow coloration, with a misty pattern of swirls and dots that's quite intriguing. It'd be equally stunning set in gold or silver jewelry, no doubt, or it would make a fine addition to your collection. The stone has a rounded dome of 5mm, a smooth symmetrical shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
