Offered here is an unusual cabochon of ocean jasper, from Madagascar. Ocean jasper never fails to amaze me with its endless variations! This unique cab features a scattering of ornate bullseyes afloat in attractive pastels of aqua, green, and gold agate background. I particularly like the clear agate halos around each of the orbs, and the way the mossy flecks seem to gravitate to their edges. The stone has a very gemmy translucent gel quality that adds a fascinating dimension of depth, unlike some of its more 'jaspery' brethren. This one's sure to be a winner you'll want to feature prominently in your jewelry showcase. It has a nicely rounded dome of 5.5mm, an elongated designer 'kite' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
