Morrisonite jasper cab ~
Offered here is a collectible cabochon of beautiful Morrisonite jasper, from Oregon. This rare material is affectionately known as 'The King' of jaspers, a premier member of the family of hard, fine grained porcelain jaspers that I love so much. This example features a unique patchwork sort of pattern in multiple pastel colors; there's so much going on in the stone, it's probably best described by the photos. Set fancy or plain, this one will do you proud! The stone has a generously high rounded dome of 7mm, a graceful designer shape, and it is polished both front and back. Please note there is one teensy void on the topside, but it's mighty tough to spot.
