Conglomerate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from a relatively new material from Arizona, called simply 'conglomerate'. I don't know anything more about it, except that it's pretty, colorful, and cuts a decent stone. It is composed of small chunks of material naturally cemented together, along with a bit of blue agate that's visible at the larger end. In the week since I polished this cab, everyone seems to pick this one up out of the group, saying 'it's interesting'. That alone tells me it'd be worth a try! It has a rounded dome of 5mm, and it is polished both front and back.
