Offered here is an ENORMOUS cabochon of top notch African pietersite. This great big honkin' stone is a collector's treasure, if ever there was one. The material is the finest I've yet had to work with, easily as nice as any I've seen. It has gleam to spare, in blends of golden yellow and deep midnight and silvery blue chatoyance in a silky, swirling, almost folded pattern that dances with the light. Accents of reddish orange add even more color to the magnificence of this dazzling stone; please be sure to click the pics to enlarge them to full size to see every amazing detail. It has a generously high rounded dome of nearly 8mm, and a fine glassy polish both front and back. And considering how the cost of fine pietersite has sky-rocketed in recent years, my per carat price for a stone of this size and calibre is a steal!
