Offered here is a large cabochon of top notch African pietersite. This long, sleek stone is a real keeper, featuring golden yellow, orange and deep midnight blue chatoyance in a silky, swirling, folded pattern that dances with the light. Accents of reddish orange add even more color to the appealing palette of this stone; please be sure to click the pics to enlarge them to full size to see the amazing details. It has a low rounded dome of 4mm, and a fine glassy polish both front and back. Considering how the cost of fine pietersite has sky-rocketed in recent years, my per carat price for a stone of this size and quality is a steal!
