Offered here is a primo cabochon of coyamito agate, which originated in Mexico, only a handful of miles from the Laguna agate beds. This classic sought-after material is a huge favorite of countless agate afficionados, myself included! Cut from the heart of a prized nodule, this stone features vibrant shades of reddish orange framing a heart of golden yellow in a beautifully wild pattern of fortification bandings. There's also a tiny crystalline core, sparkling like crushed ice. The cab has a high rounded dome of nearly 6mm, a crisp designer 'gorget' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
