Deschutes jasper cab ~
Offered here is a sweet litle cab of Deschutes jasper, from Oregon. A long time favorite in the celebrated family of porcelain jaspers, this classic old material has become quite collectibly rare these days. Christopher cut this one, and I think he did a great job. His cabochon has a neat scenic quality, with rich earthy tones of creamy tans and reddish browns, even some purplish grays. It has a rounded dome of 5mm, and a nice glassy polish both front and back.
