Agua Neuva agate cab ~
Offered here is an exceptional cabochon of Agua Neuva agate, from Mexico. I often find that like this material even more than its long prized and famous cousin, Laguna agate, found nearby. This example features pools of lavender amethystine agate with lovely fortification banding, alongside contrasting mossy figure in gold and cream. A couple of the agate 'hearts' that include subtly shaded eyes. Simply GORGEOUS! The stone has a high rounded dome of 7mm, a crisp designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back. For accuracy's sake, I do need to mention the presence of a couple hairline feathers; they play peekaboo, and are only visible at certain angles.
