Offered here is a large and splendid cabochon of classic Imperial jasper, from Mexico. This is yet another member of the fine grained porcelain jasper family I love so much. This stone is a study in shades of pastels of reddish-pinks and mauve, featuring a wild array of patterns that pretty much defy any written description. But it is truly a unique beauty, ready to do its part in your next masterpiece!! No matter what you do with it, I bet you'll have a tough time parting with this one. The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 5.5mm, a gracefully elegant designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
