Marra Mamba tigereye cab ~
Here is a large deluxe cabochon of rare Marra Mamba tigereye, from Australia. This eye-catching material is, in my opinion, the most awesome and brilliant tigereye there is anywhere in the world, and this gem's a prime example. It exhibits beautiful pearly blue chatoyance that rolls and flashes across the stone, with subtle undertones of pink and yellow. Banded jasper in gold and brown at one end, with ribbons of shiny metallic hematite alternating with orange jasper, as well as a thin streak of clear agate and another of speckly reddish-orange chatoyance. Glorious pattern and coloration! The cab has a generously high rounded dome of 6.5mm, a sweet designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
