Polish flint ~
Offered here is a cabochon of banded flint, which hails from Poland. To call it banded is surely an understatement; this stuff is full on WOW! And this is actually one of the milder patterns, believe it or not. Some of the bands show a nice, unexpected translucence, and the earthy tones are versatile enough to go with most anything, in any type of jewelry. Try a cab, I'm sure you'll like it. This one has a high and well rounded dome of 6mm, a gracefully fluid designer 'flame' shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
