Deschutes jasper cab ~
Offered here is a fine cab of Deschutes jasper, from Oregon. A long time favorite in the celebrated family of porcelain jaspers, this classic old material has become quite collectibly rare these days. This cabochon features a fabulous pattern in rich earthy tones of creamy tans and reddish browns, even some purples. Viewed with a bit of imagination, this cab is rather scenic, and full of character! It has a rounded dome of about 5mm, a versatile shape that frames the jasper's pattern beautifully, and a nice glassy polish both front and back.
