Amethyst Sage Agate ~
Offered here is a cabochon of amethyst sage agate, from Nevada. This appealing beauty is the kind I like best, featuring the classic mix of colors. The mossy burnt gold contrasts wonderfully with the gemmy purples and lavenders. There are a few extra fancy jet black dendrites too, along with some snowy and ochre patches, very nicely composed within the stone. It has a well rounded dome of 5mm, a long, gracefully curved shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
