Tiger iron cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Australian tigeriron. This interesting stone has brilliant gold flashes of chatoyant tigereye, surrounded by ribbons of dark silvery metallic hematite. There are several streaks of jasper in this striking example, in both golden tan and rich brown. The stone has a versatile rectangular shape you can have fun with, a well rounded dome of 6mm, and it is polished both front and back.
