Montana agate cab ~
Offered here is a designer cabochon of Montana agate, cut by my dear Rain, from rough we 'found' in a Montana rockshop last year. heh This one has but a few of the classic inky black dendrites; instead it has subtle fortifications, and lovely orange and black patches of various shapes and sizes. The background agate is translucent, nearly water clear, with an almost opalescent quality to it. It has a low rounded dome of 3.5mm, and a brilliantly glassy 'wet ice' polish both front and back.
