Coyamito agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of coyamito agate, which originated in Mexico, only a handful of miles from the Laguna agate beds. This classic sought-after material is a huge favorite of countless agate afficionados, becoming ever more difficult to come by these days. This translucent stone holds a variety of patterns, including fine banding with a touch of parallax, lace, and flowery tubes in warm shades of reddish orange, burnt yellow and more. There are a couple healed hairlines present, but they play peekaboo, and are not overly distracting. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, a crisp designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
