Mystery agate cab ~
Offered here is a very interesting cabochon of 'mystery' stone, so called because nobody seems to know what it is! If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say it does have some similiarities to mohawkite, though I'm sure I've never seen any that glitters like this stone. Quite unusual. With most any light source, the gold areas look very much like fine gold glitter! And there are gray ribbons of quartz cutting through it in an artistically appealing way. No doubt, it's a stone you can have some fun with. It has a very high rounded dome of 6mm, a designer 'S' shape, and despite a teensy natural void or two, it has a great glossy polish both front and back.
Size: 59x15mm
Weight: approximately 42 carats
