Offered here is a collectible cabochon of beautiful Morrisonite jasper, from Oregon. This rare material is affectionately known as 'The King' of jaspers, a premier member of the family of hard, fine grained porcelain jaspers that I love so much. This example features a unique pattern that even includes a few jet black dendrites; there's so much going on in the stone, it's probably best described by the photos. Set fancy or plain, this one will do you proud! The stone has a generously high rounded dome of 7mm, a graceful designer shape, and it is polished both front and back. My per carat price, in today's market, makes this an absolute steal of a deal!
