Laguna agate cab ~
Offered here is a fabulously fancy cabochon of Laguna agate, from Mexico. It was cut from the heart of a prized nodule, showing outstanding bands in very subtle pastels of blue and mauve, with a delightfully gemmy translucence. Some areas display a respectable degree of parallax, which is the optical illusion of the bands shifting open and closed. And then there are the zillions of tiny clouds and dots... just fascinating! It's a knockout cab you're sure to be proud of, whatever you plan for it. The stone has a low rounded dome of 4mm, a bold yet graceful designer shape, and a brilliant polish both front and back.
