Crazy lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from old stock Mexican crazy lace agate. This cab is a rather unusual example, featuring wild coloration seldom seen. Yup, it's really lavender you're seeing, with sagenitic bursts in burnt orange and deep purple. The backlit photo shows how those fine needles affected the crackly quartz areas. It is truly a remarkable beauty! The stone has a nicely rounded dome of 4.5mm, a bold designer shape, and despite a very slight degree of surface texture over some of the sagenite areas, it has a super polish both front and back.
