Prudent man plume agate cab ~
Offered here is an intriguing cabochon of Prudent Man plume agate, from eastern Idaho. This new material certainly cuts appealing stones, and I've come to be quite fond of its colorfully varied plumage. This one is a splendid example, showing multiple layers of banded color, including a row of tiny crystals and some fascinating plumes, in a warmly translucent agate. I don't have a lot more of this lovely plume agate to work with, so if it appeals to you, grab it! The stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, and it is beautifully polished both front and back.
