Agua Nueva agate cab ~
Offered here is an exceptional cabochon of Agua Nueva agate, from Mexico. I often find that I like this material even more than its long prized and famous cousin, Laguna agate, found nearby. This example features lacy bands of lavender and purple amethystine agate with contrasting mossy pools in golden tan on one side, and an interesting floating 'eye' with teensy freckles. Simply AWESOME! The stone has a high rounded dome of nearly 7mm, a gracefully curved designer shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
