Royal Aztec lace agate ~
Offered here is a sweet cabochon of royal Aztec lace agate, from Mexico. Seldom seen, this agate has become hard to come by these days, especially in the best quality. This stone is a fine example, nicely translucent, with delicate lacy bands in beautiful shades of purple and lavender. There are some lovely fortifications and scallops in the white areas around the crystalline vugs! The stone has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a bold designer 'spearhead' shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
