Coyamito agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of coyamito agate, which originated in Mexico, only a handful of miles from the Laguna agate beds. This classic sought-after material is a huge favorite of countless agate afficionados, becoming ever more difficult to come by these days. This translucent stone has oodles of razor fine banding, with a neat touch of parallax, in warm shades of reddish orange, burnt yellow and more. There are also a few scallops and subtle bullseyes at the rounded outer edge. The cab has a nicely rounded dome of 6mm, a gracefully curved designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
