Marra mamba cab ~
Here is a HUGE premium cabochon of genuine Marra Mamba tigereye, a highly collectible rarity from Australia. This startling material is, in my opinion, the most awesome tigereye in the world, and this gem's a magnificent example of the highest calibre. It features dancing pearly chatoyance in both pure and blended streaks of HOT salmon orange, red and midnight blue that roll and flash across the stone. THE MOST PRIZED colors of all! There's a bit of banded jasper present at one side, alternating with ribbons and patches of shiny metallic hematite, and a wee bit of sub-metallic matrix and jasper on the other. There are no fracs or other blemishes on the face that I can find, though there is a short, shallow hairline on the backside, and believe me when I say you won't find better anywhere! This substantial cab has a very high and well rounded dome of 6.5mm, a pleasant designer shape, and a brilliant polish both front and back.
