Montana agate cab ~
Offered here is a designer cabochon of Montana dendritic agate, cut from rough we 'found' in a Montana rockshop this summer. heh It has a nice display of inky black dendrites in various shapes and sizes, which one fellow said looked like tiny flying saucers streaking across the stone. The background agate is very translucent, subtly bluish in color, with an opalescent quality to it that's quite intriguing, especially when backlit. At certain angles, subtle banding can be discerned. Truly classic, this one's ready for your best creations. It has a low but well rounded dome of 5mm, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
